Title: Dental implications and management of a patient with Multiple Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase deficiency and myopathy: a case report

Abstract:

This case report describes the oral findings and dental implications of an adult with Multi-acyl CoA dehydrogenase deficiency and associated myopathy (MADD).  It describes the management of this patient in a community / special care dental setting in both the short and long-term, something which is yet to be reported in medical literature.
