Call for papers
A friendly reminder that abstract submission is now open for the International Association for Disability and Oral Health Congress 2026, taking place in Dublin from 19–22 August 2026.
The congress will feature eight scientific prizes recognising excellence across education, clinical research, health services and social science research, early career scholarship, and poster presentations. To be considered for any congress prize, an abstract must be submitted.

Awards include:
Oral Presentation Awards
• Education Prize
• Clinical Research Prize
• Health Services / Social Science Prize
• Early Career Researcher Prize (for researchers under 36)
Poster Presentation Awards
• Case Report / Case Series Awards (x2)
• Clinical Research Poster Award
• Social Science / Non-Clinical Research Poster Award
You may also submit oral presentations and posters outside of the prize competitions, and we warmly encourage members to share their research, clinical innovations, and service developments even if they are not entering an award category.
In addition, a 3-Minute Research Slam session will be introduced at the congress. This will provide an opportunity to present research in a short, engaging format, with further details and a separate call opening soon.
Finalists will present during the scientific programme, with winners announced at the closing ceremony.
We hope many members will submit their work and join us in Dublin for what promises to be an outstanding international meeting for our community.
