Abstract:
The BSSCD Spring Conference 2026 marked the Society's 50th anniversary and the focus for the two days was multidisciplinary team (MDT) working and, in particular, identifying the characteristics of successful MDT working.
Hosted at King's College London, the conference brought together clinicians, academics, trainees and allied healthcare professionals to explore how collaborative approaches can improve outcomes for patients with complex needs. Tim Newton, as President of the Society, arranged a varied programme to develop the theme.
